About Brandon Myers

The "Rambling Gamer," Brandon has been playing video games since 1988. From the NES to the PS4, he's played almost every major console. While he favors consoles, he's dabbled in PC gaming, and is an avid Linux user. Every Wednesday, he posts his latest Ramblings, which usually consist of video game reviews, best/worst lists, and on occasion a good old-fashioned rant.

WWE 2K18 Vs. Fire Pro Wrestling World

The latest Video Game Ramblings YouTube video is here!  I talk about WWE 2K18 and Fire Pro Wrestling World.  As I note in the video description, when I talk about The New Day’s theme music, I mean the part where Big E says “It’s a New Day, yes it is!”  Also, my mentioning “button mashing” was cut off, likely when I used the truncate silence option in Audacity.  Sorry about that.

Anyway, here’s the video.  Enjoy!

Video Game Ramblings Intro

Hey all, Brandon Myers (“The Rambling Gamer”) here.  You know me from my Ramblings column, but now get ready for my YouTube channel!  I’m going to give this a shot to see how I do.  I doubt I’ll be the next Geekdom101, but I hope I can carve my own niche, at the very least.  This is just an intro video for my channel.  My first official video will come in just over a week, if not before then.

If you have any feedback, please leave a comment on the video, or Tweet me at @vgramblings.  Thanks for watching!

Ramblings – Fire Pro Wrestling World

Hi everybody!  Welcome back to Geekdom101.com!  I apologize for not having written anything since E3, but there hasn’t been much to talk about.  But now there is, as Fire Pro Wrestling World was released last Monday, July 10th.  Well, not a full release.  It’s in Early Access, which means it’s still in beta phase.  But Spike Chunsoft are using this to get feedback on features and stuff that fans really want.  So that’s a big plus.  Enough babbling for the intro, let’s get to my full take on Fire Pro Wrestling World. E3 2017 Wrap-Up Podcast

Hello everyone, welcome back to Geekdom101.com.  I said I had something different planned this year for the E3 2017 round-up, and here it is.  A podcast hosted by Mr. Eddie, President of Edmerica, and myself, The Rambling Gamer.  We break down E3 2017, which games piqued our interest, what sort of fell flat, and a touch of miscellany.  You can check it out below. Ramblings – E3 2017 Preview

Greetings, folks, and welcome back to Geekdom101.com!  It’s that time of year again.  Yes, it’s time for E3 2017!  Woo!  I’m writing this on Friday this year because news just keeps leaking and leaking.  Mostly about Assassin’s Creed: Origins, but we’ll get to that later.  Other, non-AC stuff has leaked, too, but there should hopefully be some surprises.  So let’s get previewing! Ramblings – Random (5/4/17)

Hey guys, welcome back to Geekdom101!  Happy Star Wars Day!  I don’t have anything Star Wars to talk about, sorry.  Now, I’m sure you’re tired of me just doing “Random” columns most of the time these days.  I apologize.  I just haven’t had any good ideas for solo columns, so I’ve just been bunching random things together.  I’m in a slump.  Before I get too depressing, let’s get on with the column. Ramblings – The Elder Scrolls Online

Hey guys!  Welcome back to Geekdom101.com!  It’s time for another Ramblings.  It’s actually a game review this time.  The Elder Scrolls Online is doing a free trial week that started on Tuesday, April 11th, and runs through Tuesday, April 18th.  Since I’m a fan of the Elder Scrolls series, I decided to give it a try.  Why not?
