Megan (while shitting in the sink): “It’s coming out like lava!”
Hmph…would you look at that. Here I thought I would start the 2011 Summer Movie Season with something like Fast Five or Thor, but here I am, with my first review of the season, and it’s…Bridesmaids?
I dunno if I’ve made this statement in any review/column yet, but if I haven’t, here it is – I ALWAYS check out ANY FILM associated with JUDD APATOW, because 9 times out of 10, it delivers on the laughs, and then some. Can I add Bridesmaids to the list of such Apatow classics as The 40-Year Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Superbad, or does it belong on the short list of rare Apatow duds such as Drillbit Taylor, Year One, and You Don’t Mess With the Zohan?
