The 2016 Summer Movie Season is in full swing!
With FORCED PERSPECTIVE in the middle of its bye-week, I figured I would (finally) bring back my movie reviews with a film that has become one of my favorite films of the year – Drive. Directed by the great Nicholas Winding Refn, and starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Albert Brooks, Ron Perlman, Bryan Cranston, and Christina Hendricks, click on the link below to learn why anyone calling themselves a fan of film is hereby MANDATED to see this…and listen to some kick-ass sync-pop!
My final movie review of the day (and my last one until Friday) begins my series of reviews on films that JUST didn’t make the cut for Best Picture at the Oscars this year, but did manage to find a saving grace in being nominated in one of the acting categories (The Town actually falls into this category – luckily I was able to review the film in December, check it out HERE). To begin this series (or continue – however you want to look at it), I’ll be reviewing Blue Valentine, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams.
